Chopper/Gelcoat Operator


Experienced (minimum 2 years) Chopper operator and/or Gelcoat Operator

Required to set up chopper equipment and/or gelcoat equipment for varying process requirements.
Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems and repair.
Apply fibreglass, resin, catalyst and gelcoat in proper proportions for application. Ability to control thickness and curing times in a production environment.
Assist in laminating, maintaining thickness required and identifying problems areas,
De-moulding and some assembly.

Whmis and safety procedure knowledge a definite asset.

Initial three month contract position turning to full time. Full time wage based on performance and experience.

General Labourer

A planned expansion in our production facility has prompted us to begin the recruitment process for energetic, team-oriented individuals seeking

full time (up to 36 hours per week), permanent employment.

Successful applicants must possess a high school diploma, be fluent in English, both orally and written, have the ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

and be prepared to work in a fast paced team environment. Some fibreglass, autobody repair or spray painting experience would be an asset.

Reliable transportation, excellent attendance and workplace safety/WHMIS recognition are musts.

Job may include rotating shifts, repetitive tasks, manual dexterity, hand-eye co-ordination and standing for extended periods.
